Capturing the Heart of Advocacy: Branding and Headshots with Texas Equal Access Fund
I had the privilege of collaborating with the Texas Equal Access Fund (TEA Fund) to create a series of branding images and professional headshots that reflect the organization's unwavering commitment to reproductive rights and community support.
TEA Fund is a nonprofit organization based in Texas, dedicated to helping individuals access the full spectrum of reproductive healthcare. Grounded in the principles of reproductive justice, TEA Fund offers financial and emotional support to people navigating critical healthcare decisions, advocating for the right to autonomy, dignity, and informed choice.
The goal of this session was to create imagery that would be used across TEA Fund’s website and social media platforms — visuals that convey professionalism, empathy, and the organization’s deep-rooted values of respect, autonomy, and compassion. We wanted to not only capture polished headshots but also stage authentic, emotionally resonant moments that reflect the real experiences TEA Fund engages with daily.
For this session, I brought my full studio lighting setup to their workspace to ensure a clean, consistent look. We worked together to create a balance between professional portraits and documentary-style scenes that evoke the human stories at the heart of TEA Fund’s mission. The team’s energy and passion were evident in every frame, resulting in images that feel both powerful and deeply genuine.
